How do I activate the code for a student on Cambridge One?

Teachers and administrators can activate codes on behalf of students. Administrators can also activate codes for multiple students at the same time. 

Then, follow the steps for your role:

I'm a Teacher
I'm an Administrator

I'm a Teacher:

1. Find the class on your dashboard and choose Class data

2. From the three dot menu next to the student’s name, select Activate course material

3. Enter the activation code, then choose Activate.

You'll see confirmation of:

• Duration of the access
• Title you have activated
• The last day of access.

I'm an Administrator:

1. Go to the Students tab on your dashboard, open the Manage students menu, and choose Activate course materials
 

2. Choose Get CSV template and save the file
Tip: Keep the original file format: CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (*.csv). Changing it may cause errors.
 

3. Open the template, enter the required information, then save the file

Please note:

• Learning materials are assigned to accounts listed in the Students tab, so you can only add the emails or usernames of students already part of your school
• You can add up to 200 students in total, but the maximum per class is 100 students.

4. Now choose + Upload file, select your template, and then Activate # codes.
 

You’ll receive an email with a report once the codes are activated.
